Nordic Lights with the Christmas Revels

Dairy Center for the Arts, 2590 Walnut St, Boulder, CO

The Christmas Revels is an annual holiday performance, this year featuring songs and stories of Scandinavia. A large cast of children and adults perform songs and dances, and share tales of trolls and an enchanted fox who befriends travelers in peril. Our special guest is violinist and nyckelharpa artist Sandra Wong. Join our villagers as they endure the long night of the winter solstice, sustained by music and hope waiting for the return of the light. Sing along and laugh with us as we discover how stories change many times with re-telling, while still maintaining their essential truth. This is a family-friendly holiday experience with audience participation. I will be cattle-calling (kulning), playing Hardanger, Nyckelharpa and Fiddle for this show.

$28/$20(children under 16)
